The Beaches and Dunes Forum & the C-MAP project are excited to announce the 4th Annual Sand Dune Gathering 2026 taking place in two locations this year: Portstewart Strand on 6th March, and the Maharees Tomobolo on 28th March.
The Gathering brings together people interested in the future of Ireland’s beaches and dunes. At these events, participants will learn about and contribute their views on best practices in dune management, planning, and restoration. Both events will be excellent opportunities to come together to share our knowledge and passion for our highly valued beaches and dunes – a full schedule will be circulated in February. We hope you can join us at one of the locations (or both!) and be part of this ever-growing sand dune community.
