Ballina to Host Mayo Fleadh Cheoil 2025

Ballina has been officially named as the host town for Fleadh Cheoil Mhaigh Eo 2025, taking place from May 3rd to 11th, 2025. This exciting event will bring together Ireland’s finest traditional musicians, singers, and dancers for a celebration of Irish culture, music, and heritage.

To build excitement ahead of the main festival, several events will take place in the lead-up to the Fleadh, including a special concert on the 19th  April and a launch event. These occasions will showcase the rich musical talent of Mayo and create a buzz in the community. The Fleadh itself will feature competitions, street performances, céilís, workshops, and lively sessions in local pubs and venues, ensuring an incredible atmosphere throughout Ballina.

Hosting the Fleadh is a major cultural and economic opportunity for Ballina, attracting visitors from across Ireland and beyond.
