Mayo County Council is preparing a Transport Study for the town of Ballyhaunis. The Transport Study will address the mobility needs of people and businesses in and around Ballyhaunis, making it a more vibrant, accessible, healthier and sustainable town for everyone. The Study will build on existing plans and planning practices and will take due consideration of integration, participation, and evaluation principles.
The Study will propose measures relating to how people move around the Town, the measures will relate to street design, public transport and safer walking and cycling infrastructure. Your comments are now being sought in relation to these measures.
