Free six-session Climate Course for over 60’s taking place in Achill in January.
The course will begin on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, at 10.30am and run over the following five Wednesdays at the same time. Each session runs for two hours.
The programme, run by Jacinta Barrins, aims to have conversations about climate change in a friendly atmosphere, over a cup of tea. (In fact, she often starts by showing in simple terms the connection between the cuppa and climate change!)
The course will be held at Achill Outdoor Education and Training Centre, Achill, and we would be delighted to welcome any over 60s who want to become more climate and carbon aware. This course is free to all participants.
