All set for Féile Dú Éige this Saturday!!
Get the All-Ireland weekend off to the perfect start with the Féile Dú Éige Family Fun Day this Saturday the 25th of July!
It takes place in Dooega on Achill Island from 2-4pm and there is something for everyone.
There is not one or two but three bouncy castles for all different ages of children. A fabulous magic show and balloon modelling with Artur the Magician will take place. Stormy Sam and the brave RNLI crew will be there.
Local historian Denis will bring you back in time with his vintage heritage display.
Kelly’s Cones will be on hand with lots of yummy ice-cream!
National award winners Dooega Clean Coasts Group will have an information stand full of interesting marine items … have you ever seen a Fatberg in real life?!
Have fun or get competitive in our games zone, have some cool creations with our face painting area and keep an eye out for our new addition – a vintage car and tractor display.
Meet Madame Urzula our fantastic Tarot Card reader who will see what the cards have in store for you. Hopefully she might predict a Mayo win!
There will be an amazing nature display by Wild Nephin National Park and a penalty shoot-out with our guest star goalkeeper.
Achill Order of Matla will be on hand to keep everyone safe and injury free. Le Chica Café coffee truck will be there serving up some delicious Colombian coffee and Clew Bay Catering food truck will be joining us for some mouth watering food!
And of course … concluding our day will be our signature Dooega Duck Race!
Will you be the winner of the famous cup? Ducks on sale in Mickey’s Bar, Achill Sound Post Office and on the day itself.
