Twenty-Four (24) categories front-line critical services are eligible and include, Youth, Social Housing, Education, support for disadvantaged communities, Social Services, Family Support Services, etc.
There is a very tight timeline for applications – the deadline is Wednesday, 20th May at 5pm.
The €35m grant COVID-19 Stability fund will provide once-off grants towards operational and overhead costs such as rent, utilities, (excluding salaries). The grant awarded will be dependent on the need identified and the demand for the available budget. It is envisaged that grants awarded will vary in size ranging from €2,000 to €100,000.
To be eligible to apply for this fund, your organisation must:
- be delivering front-line critical services in the Republic of Ireland, before the 1st January 2019 and
- have a projected loss in your 2020 fundraising income and/or traded income of 25% or more as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
All applicants must register with Pobal to access Community and Voluntary Stability Scheme portal.
Pobal recommends that you allow sufficient time (3 days) between registering for Community and Voluntary Stability Scheme portal and completing the online application process, to ensure Pobal support is available to you should you encounter any issues.
