As part of promoting Gender, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (GEDI) in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), in conjunction with Public Jobs, you are warmly invited to join DFAT’s Multicultural Working Group for an “Information Session on Career Opportunities in the Public Service for Immigrant Communities”.
This event will take place online on Thursday 16th October 2025 from 17.30-19.00.
The Public Jobs will present on the recruitment process to public sector jobs, including updated eligibility criteria for roles in the Public Service. You will also learn about the work of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and hear from Irish public servants from immigrant backgrounds about their work in government jobs. The following areas will be covered:

- Appointment to Public Jobs Interview Board.
