The Local Enhancement Programme 2026 is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht. The funding for the Local Enhancement Programme 2026 will support Community and Voluntary groups in County Mayo, particularly in disadvantaged areas for capital projects only. It may be used for carrying out repairs and improvements to facilities, energy efficiency type projects, purchase of equipment etc.
The Local Enhancement Programme 2026 is allocated through Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) in Mayo.
The total allocation for Mayo for 2026 is €217,741.96 for capital funding.
The applications and access to application forms is open from 22nd January 2026.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 3.00pm Friday 27th February 2026.
