Mayo County Council, in partnership with Mayo Sports Partnership, is developing a County Outdoor Recreation Plan 2025-2029 to maximise the potential of Mayo’s land, air and water-based recreation provision in line with Embracing Ireland’s Outdoors National Outdoor Recreation Strategy.
Please note, for the purposes of this questionnaire (and in alignment with the National Outdoor Recreation Strategy) ‘outdoor recreation’ is defined as activities that take place in the natural environment, such as walking, canoeing, mountain biking, orienteering and wild swimming.
