The Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme provides funding for the development of new and existing outdoor recreational infrastructure in rural areas.
The Minister for Rural Community Development and Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD, has launched the 2026/27 Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme.
The 2026/2027 Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) will see the development of natural amenities such as Ireland’s mountains, lakes, beaches, bogs, walkways, greenways and blueways.
Mayo County Council are now seeking expressions of interest under Measures 1, 2, 3 and the Project Development Measure.
