Home to Mayo Festival Grants Funding – Wed 28th Feb @11.30am.

Home to Mayo takes place over the month of May & is aimed at supporting events which encourage our Diaspora to travel home to the County during the month of May 2024.

If you are planning to hold celebrations, festivals or events that will coincide with Home to Mayo – Mayo County Council are opening a grants process that can aid groups in putting on their celebration, festival or event.

Community Climate Action Fund Mayo Co Council – Wed 7th Feb 2024 @10am, Lorna Dennehy, Community Climate Action Officer, Mayo Co Council.

The Community Climate Action Fund offers 100% funding for community/not-for-profit groups within the county to take climate action at a local level.

Come along to learn about the various projects supported by the fund under the five themes: Community Energy, Travel, Food and Waste, Shopping and Recycling & Local Climate and Environmental Action.

Fáilte Ireland’s Regional Festival & Participative Events Funding Programme 2024 – Wed 7th Feb 2024 @11am, Anna Connor, Tourism Officer, Mayo Co Council.

Mayo County Council wish to announce an open call for funding under Failte Irelands Regional Festival & Participative Events Programme 2024. The programme aims to support festivals and participative events that will drive domestic tourism and help to improve the visitor experience in Mayo.

Mayo County Council is seeking proposals for projects to take place on June 15th 2024 for Cruinniú na nÓg, the national day of creativity for children and young people.

The objective of this scheme is to provide support to local community groups; artistic, heritage and creative practitioners; event organisers and those involved in creative activities and projects, to encourage creativity, collaboration, and cultural participation.

The Arts Act Grant – Wed 21st Feb 2024 @11am, Ann Marie Mc Ging, Arts Officer, Mayo County Council.

Arts Act Grant assist with money, or in kind, events or activities which would, in the opinion of the local authority: stimulate public interest in the arts, promote knowledge, appreciation and practice of the arts or improve the standards of the arts within its functional area. Includes, visual arts, theatre, literature, music, dance, opera, film, circus and architecture, and includes any medium when used for those purposes.

The scheme is open to groups, organisations, festivals in the county seeking support toward the cost of arts events/projects/activities. Applications from individuals are not eligible for funding.
