Age Friendly Ireland is thrilled to announce that they are now open for applications to the National Age Friendly Recognition and Achievement Awards 2025.

These prestigious awards are open to organisations, agencies and members of the public who are making exceptional contributions to ensure Ireland is a great place in which to grow old.
Again this year there are eight categories of awards, aligning to the WHO themes:
- Transport
- Active & Healthy Ageing
- Business Innovation
- Safety & Security
- Communications
- Environment
- Community Innovation
- Housing
This year’s awards ceremony will take place in The Galmont Hotel, Galway, on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025.
