Achill Island Surf Club

Achill Island Surf Club was established in October 2022, in conjunction with Irish Surfing. Our aim is to encourage safe surfing among the youth along with an awareness of the environment - we do a beach clean as part of every surf session. All local schools have volunteered instructors to help with coaching and it is going really well. We have a clubhouse for storage and meetings and Irish Surfing hosted past of the National Junior Tour in Achill for the first time this year, due to the presence of the new club.
