Brigid in Europe Inter-cultural festival

To remember and celebrate the values of St. Brigid and their relevance for today. To highlight her significance in Mayo ( there are five townlands in Mayo called Kilbride, more than any other county in Ireland. To educate and celebrate the influence of Brigid and the Irish monastics in general on mainland Europe and to strengthen our bonds today focussed on peace making n a world full of turmoil.
