EAST MAYO GREENWAY GROUP

The group was formed in 2019 to support the forming of a greenway in Kiltimagh. In late 2020 the group changed focus to support the continuation of the Sligo Greenway going through Mayo from Charlestown, Swinford, Kiltimagh to Claremorris. Submissions to the MCC Draft Development plan has shown the strong wishes of the communities of the east Mayo towns to have this facility which would go a long way to rejuvenating the life of these depressed areas and bring employment as has been shown in other parts of Mayo and further afield in Ireland. https://www.facebook.com/groups/eastmayogreenwaygroup
