JCI Mayo

JCI (Junior Chamber International) is a global leadership and development organisation for people in their 20's and 30's. JCI Mayo is an affiliated branch of the international organisation. JCI Mayo offer members the chance to develop themselves through personal development, develop their career by learning and developing business skills and develop their communities by running community led projects. JCI Mayo was established in 2011 and officially affiliated with JCI in June 2012 since then we have set up a very successful Twinning relationship with JCI Shefield, we have run The Friendly Business Awards to recognise local businesses that help raise standards of business, we have run The Ten Outstanding Young Person Awards to recognise young people who strive to better themselves, business and community. In 2012 we had a Mayo TOYP winner go forward and be recognised as one of the 10 World TOYP winners. The only criteria for membership is that you are aged between 18-40. We are a county based organisation with members from Westport, Swinford, Castlebar, Ballina, Claremorris The organisation offers opportunities, training and skills development in 4 areas - Individual, Business, Community and international
