Mayo Disabled People’s Organisation (dpo)

Mayo DPO aims to realise effective rights for & with the County’s disabled persons’ population under Irish legislation, social policy, EU & UN CRPD obligations. Mayo DPO is a County-wide single inclusive social model collective that is recognised as the representative voice for and with Disabled Persons Life Course choices in accessing all public services throughout County Mayo. Mayo DPO exists to empower disabled person’s to be fully included in the cultural, economic, education and social life of county Mayo. Membership is open to all disabled people aged 18 and over, with lived experiences of disabling barriers in Mayo.
