You’re invited to join Circus 250 on Saturday 28 June for the Day of Grace – a full-day celebration of Ireland’s legendary pirate queen, Grace O’Malley / Granuaille, on the shores of Grace’s heartland, in Dugort, Achill Island.

A day of events in Dugort to celebrate the launch of our new aerial show inspired by Ireland’s legendary pirate queen Grace O’Malley.

 Start the day with a pirate costume-making workshop for kids.
 Witness the premiere of Grace: The Story of a Pirate Queen – a brand new outdoor aerial circus show with live storytelling, original music, and a fierce all-female international cast.
 And don’t miss Dauntless, a powerful performance from acclaimed storyteller Deborah Newbold, bringing Granuaile’s extraordinary tale to life (ages 14+).

All in Dugort, Achill Island – with a mix of free and ticketed events.

2.30pm – 3:30pm: The voyage begins. Join us for Grace: The Story of a Pirate Queen.
With original music, powerful storytelling, and gravity-defying circus, this brand new show brings the legend of Grace O’Malley vividly to life. From stormy seas to royal courts, join Granuaile on her remarkable voyage across history.
