The IPB Pride of Place Awards 2025

Ireland’s largest community awards will be hosted by Limerick City and County Council on Friday, November 7, 2025, with hundreds of delegates set to travel from across the four provinces to Limerick’s Strand Hotel.

Officially launched on Wednesday, 11th June at King John’s Castle, Limerick, The IPB Pride of Place awards is an annual competition organised by peacebuilding charity Co-operation Ireland and sponsored by IPB Insurance.

Dr Brendan O’Regan, a transformative figure in the MidWest region, founded Co-operation Ireland in 1979 as Co-operation North, to foster cross border links. It is Ireland’s leading peacebuilding charity.

The IPB Pride of Place awards were established to promote and celebrate the best in community development. The awards recognise the selfless efforts of people in making their local neighbourhoods better places to live, work and socialise. 2025 marks the 23rd year of the awards.

Congratulations to the nominations from Mayo County Council for the IPB Pride of Place Awards 2025.
