Town & Village Renewal Scheme 2021

Mayo County Council invites towns and villages within the county to submit Expressions of Interest for inclusion in the Town & Village Renewal Scheme 2021, which is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development under Project Ireland 2040 as part of “Our Rural Future – Ireland’s Rural Development Policy 2021 – 2025”.

The Town and Village Renewal Scheme 2021 provides funding for rural towns and villages for delivery of projects in 2021 and 2022 with a particular focus on projects supporting remote working and enhancing town centre living. Projects that support the economic and social recovery of towns and villages in response to COVID-19 will continue to be supported.

Only one application for any individual town or village can be submitted.

Applicants are strongly advised to read the scheme outline prior to completing the Expression of Interest Form and to note the changes to the scheme in 2021.

The Online Expression of Interest Form and scheme outline are available at the following link: https://www.mayo.ie/townandvillagescheme2021

Expression of Interest Forms should be completed online and submitted on or before 5pm on Friday, 4th June, 2021. No Expressions of Interest will be accepted after that time.
