Iarnród Éireann are inviting submissions from interested citizens and groups as part of the consultation on the extension of the Western Rail Corridor.
While many key business groups and organisations will be contributing, this is your personal opportunity to express your support for the restoration of the railway in a tangible and very valuable way.

The appraisal is concerned with the proposed extension of the Western Rail Corridor only. It is not an appraisal of any other alternative uses for the corridor.
EY-DKM will present the report including findings and recommendations to Iarnród Éireann and the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport by the end of September 2019. The DTTAS will then undertake an independent peer review of the report and its findings and recommendations, and will finalise this process to aid policy decisions on this proposal.
